Have started drafting out some sample track plans for the layout. Have a nice idea for a layout with 2 complete and 2 half circuits. Impossible to explain without a diagram. Experimenting with some layout planning software at the mo. XTrkCad seems overly complicated at first. Maybe I've always been looking at it at the end of a hard day already infront of my laptop? I'll give it another go, but in the mean time, AnyRail looks simpler. Still quite a learning curve and as with any cad software, you just wish you could draw on the screen (or on a graphics tablet) and it do exactly what you show it! No such luck. Will persevere with it when I have any more time and hopefully produce a track plan for this idea, then will post it here.
