Forgot to say - at the show (in the last half hour) I just managed to get a box of 25 lengths of Peco Code 100 Nickel Silver (brown sleeper) 'OO' flexitrack for a good price from Malc's Models Ilkeston, Nottingham, England. Malc himself (if that was his name) was very friendly (as were his staff) and offered helpful advice on one or two other items. I recommend visiting his shop which is open from 12pm-5pm Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri and 10am-5pm Sat.

Maybe this will be the start of our garage layout at last (despite still having no plans) - I'm starting to get excited now! My Dad has just reminded me that we still have to put in the legs so the whole thing doesnt fall down on us but I'm sure it won't be long!
